While the new triage system for collecting information would seem practical I would prefer a qualified nurse to be collecting this.
Not enough information was given about this new system.
The receptionist are pleasant and helpful, but when making an appointment at the receptionist area it is not very confidential if you have give your date of birth in earshot of other waiting patients.
Since registering Lasting Power of Attorney (Health & Welfare) with the practice for my elderly father, I have found all staff at Pondtail professional, efficient and friendly in their communication, advice and help.
Linda on reception always goes the 'extra mile', in this case making sure that the Pharmacist and GP were given the correct information speedily with impressively timely response times (a stark contrast to my own lamentable GP service in South London).
Thank you all for your teamwork in doing your best by my father's health and wellbeing.
Having left documents at the surgery, after two weeks neither of my simple requests relating to these documents had been completed. One, an update from the GP just covering the name of medication to be added to an already completed medical (these further details requested by a local town council for a renewal of a private hire licence). Second, a simple typed receipt for my company to show in more detail the payment I had made for the prior medical examination. However the receipt was completed as I was leaving with the medical not updated.
The phone rang; it was answered.
I contacted the surgery last week expecting a telephone consultation. I was offered one the same morning which I was pleased about and surprised considering how busy they are. However the reception spoke to the GP and called me back and offered me an appt within the hour. The receptionist Linda was very polite and very helpful and the GP I saw was lovely. Thank you Pondtail.
